Hello there! I'm Devyn McCrea, a professional guitarist and composer originally from California. I have had the privilege of studying under accomplished teachers across various musical disciplines and have gained valuable experience performing in ensembles, competing in recognized competitions, and captivating audiences through concerts both in the United States and abroad.
My pursuit of musical excellence led me to Oklahoma, where I pursued and successfully obtained my bachelor's degree. During my time here, I have been fortunate to be part of an exceptional community of talented peers, whose unwavering support has played a significant role in shaping me as both an individual and a musician. Now, I am eager to contribute and give back to others the generosity and guidance that have been bestowed upon me.

I have been involved in music since the age of three, and began teaching at 17. Over the past 16 years, I have taught various genres including opera, musical theater, classical, jazz, pop, gospel, country, soul, and rock. With a master's degree in Vocal Pedagogy, I am committed to providing personalized attention to each student, taking into account their unique personalities, strengths, and needs. This year, I was honored as the first Teacher Artist by the Oklahoma City Art's Counsel, allowing me to share the transformative power of music with children and adults while proudly representing OKC.

I founded this studio with the vision of creating a community of music lovers who can grow both in their musicianship and personal development.
